Jenny Wang (Class of 2025)

Jenny Wang is the president. She speaks English, French, Spanish, Mandarin and Shanghainese. Through MedComm, Jenny hopes to ensure all patients have access to the health services they need, regardless of the language they speak. She is proud to have helped with the conception of the website, hoping it has made MedComm a more accessible and useful tool!

Marianne Bou Rjeily (Class of 2024)

Marianne speaks English, French and Arabic. Her hobbies are cooking, dancing and acrobatics.

Jun Yang Liu (Class of 2023)

Jun speaks English, French and Mandarin.

Darya Naumova (Class of 2022)

Darya Naumova speaks Ukrainian, Russian, English and French.

Elie Fadel (Class of 2026)

Elie is the VP Communications. He speaks French, English, German and Spanish. Living in multiple countries has given him the privilege to be able to communicate effectively with people from very diverse backgrounds.

Noha Benharira (Class of 2027)

Noha is the VP Communications. She speaks French, English, Spanish, and Arabic. Through MedComm, she hopes to achieve greater healthcare accessibility by breaking language barriers for diverse communities and strives to better support patients facing linguistic challenges.

Amanda Stevenson (Class of 2026)

Amanda Stevenson is the VP Internal Junior. She speaks English and French, and she is looking forward to helping train more people to become medical interpreters!

Rayhana Cheriti (Class of 2027)

Hi! I’m Rayhana, a second-year medical student at McGill, VP External for MedComm, and one of the leaders of MedComm’s Medical Interpretation Workshops. I speak French, English, and Arabic, and look forward to helping train many other medical students to bridge language gaps in healthcare for compassionate care.

Sangkha Paul (Class of 2025)

Sangkha is the VP Education. She speaks English, French and Bengali fluently (and now learning Hindi and Italian)! She is passionate about raising awareness about evidence-based practices to safely and effectively communicate with patients with limited English/French proficiency. She co-developed the ‘How to Interact with an Interpreter’ workshop in 2020-21 and participated in quality control research initiatives to improve MedComm’s workshops!
